Salary Range: $68k-$78k annually

Title: Talent Acquisition Partner

Summary:

This role will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting including managing ATS, reviewing applications, interviewing candidates, administering pre-employment assessments, coordinating and cultivating a relationship with the hiring managers, onboarding and representing the company to potential employees during the hiring process and recruitment events.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end recruitment process for hiring across the organization, ensuring a
smooth and positive candidate experience.

  • You will be in charge of attracting, screening, selecting, and onboarding qualified team members who fit our company culture and align with our organizational values.
  • Actively engage with managers, provide ongoing status of requisitions and reporting, advise and support managers throughout the hiring process, and close requisitions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an organized pipeline of active, viable candidates.
  • Negotiates pay rates and closes the candidates in accordance with company goals and expectations.
  • Experience of identifying both passive and active candidates across a variety of attraction channels is essential and as a business partner, you must enjoy hiring for a variety of different roles across business teams.
  • Create job descriptions for all positions in the ATS System.
  • Create and implement employment marketing and branding strategies through social media and networks to attract passive talent.
  • Utilize social media outlets for recruiting purposes.
  • Research trends in technology, competitors, and upcoming career fairs and events.
  • Ability to form recommendations on sourcing strategy based on data insights and observations.
  • Prepare and provide talent acquisition and outreach status reports on a regular basis according to set KPIs.
  • Ability to develop meaningful analysis to drive stakeholder engagement and actions that will positively influence the company’s workforce strategy.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Educational Background & Experience Requirements:

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, Communications, Finance, Economics, Psychology or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within the Talent Acquisition space.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office required (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Transportation industry experience a plus.

Position Requirements:

  • Proven ability to technically evaluate and screen candidates.
  • Strong relationship management skills to identify, assess, and maintain candidates and hiring manager relationships.
  • Consistency and accuracy, strong organizational and time-management skills are without a doubt essential to ensure the success of this role.
  • Experience in supporting remote customers.
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Advanced experience and understanding of leading-edge recruiting techniques and tools including social networking (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook), Boolean searching and traditional networking methodologies.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with universities, technical schools and alternative diversity networks.
  • Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the recruitment and employment function.
  • Experience managing and providing timely feedback to hiring managers.
  • Understanding and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) principles and other recruiting related compliance requirements is required.
  • Advanced level candidate pre-closing and closing skills with proven ability to determine viable prospects.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 
  • Strong attention to detail.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office
equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

This is largely a sedentary role. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and
bend or stand as necessary.
